Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) seeks refuge in Allah from Ayesha

Some Muslims claim that Ayesha was the Prophet’s most beloved wife to the extent that he cherished and respected Ayesha above all wives including Umm al-Momineen Hazrat Khadijah (s.a.).

This claim is false and has no basis. The only reason these Muslims glorify Ayesha is because she is Abu Bakr’s daughter and was a vociferous supporter of her father and Umar to the caliphate. She has no other claim to fame.

Unfortunately, these Muslims do not accord the same respect and honour to Muhammad b. Abi Bakr only because he was not a supporter of Abu Bakr’s caliphate.

If the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) truly loved Ayesha he would not have referred to her in this manner:

أَعُوْذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكِ

“I seek refuge in Allah from you.”
