Desires of Abu Bakr and Umar to become excreta!!

Renowned scholar of the Ahle Tasannun Alaauddin Ali Muttaqi Ibn Hisaamuddin al-Hindi al-Burhanpuri (exp. 975) reports in his magnum opus:

Zahhaak reports: One day Abu Bakr saw a bird perched on a tree and said: Congratulations to you, O bird! By Allah, I wish I could be like you sitting on a tree, eating from the fruits and then flying off. There is neither accounting for you nor punishment. By Allah! I wish I was a tree near the roadside, a camel would pass by me, eat me and then I would become its excreta and I would not be a mortal!!

(Kanz al-Ummaal, vol. 12, p. 528, H. 35699)

Zahhaak chronicles: Umar said, “How I wish I was a sheep of my family who would look after me well so that I would become fat. When I would become fat, some visitors would come to see my family, so they would slaughter me for the visitors, roast me, make kebabs and gravy out of my meat, eat me and then I would come out of them in the form of excreta! How I wish I would not be a mortal!

(Kanz al-Ummaal, vol. 12, p. 619, H. 35912)

The question is that what did Abu Bakr and Umar do that they desired that they would not be humans – who are supposed to be the most superior form of Allah’s creatures – and that there would be no accounting and punishment for them?

Moreover, they were willing to become excreta of birds and animals but not humans. Isn’t it surprising?

Worse, don’t be surprised that if the Ahle Tasannun take this as a sign of their humility. For, the blind partisans are more foolish than their crazy leaders!!
